HOW TO CHANGE YOUR LIFE & MINISTRY

[layerslider id="1"]

Dear friend, We are living in very critical and challenging times, these are times of great change and conflict, much of the change we are experiencing is negative and life destroying and  is  being inflicted on us in very subtle and undiscerning ways through the power of social media and television.

The Church has undergone so much change that today it is largely unrecognisable when compared to the Church that we see in the book of the Acts.

The reason why the Church has suffered so much is partly because she did not recognise that there is a very strategic and sustained onslaught by satan using the tools described above to corrupt and distort the perspectives of the Christian Church.

From the narratives of LGTBQ agenda, to the ‘gospels’ of grace and prosperity and all the ideologies and narratives that has weakened the Church we see that the Church is tottering weakened from within by the corruption within its inner most being.

The devil knows something many Christians have forgotten or do not realize, to control people you must control their access to information because what you know is what you believe and what you believe is what you act out. This explains why the Church is where it is today.

However we  can reverse these negatives using the same principles that the enemy has used against the Church, you can do the same in your own life. If you don’t like the outcomes  or the things you see in your life, you can change it.

Many people concentrate on the outcome but neglect the processes that produce those outcomes, when they pray they pray against the outcomes but without changing the processes, they keep creating those negative outcomes in  their lives.  You can change your own story and this is how you can do it.

Three small words

Knowledge, Belief, Action

KNOWLEDGE

Knowledge is the first step to transformation, without knowledge there is no basis for faith or belief. The bible says

My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children. Hosea 4:6

A lack of knowledge is destructive, even more so is the lack of true knowledge.

Jesus said you shall know the truth and the truth shall make you free, but that’s not all, the knowledge you gain must be relevant to the change you want. There are different kinds of knowledge but it is the knowledge of God and Jesus Christ that I am speaking of here.

Paul said to the Church in Corinth

Awake to righteousness, and sin not; for some have not the knowledge of God: I speak this to your shame. (1 Cor.15:34)

Some people assume that just because they are in Church, they have the right kind of knowledge, you will be surprised to know that in many places much of what is taught is not the knowledge of God. It is a mixture of tradition, half-truths and in some cases outright error.

BELIEVE

The English Evangelist Smith Wigglesworth told a very interesting story, very sick woman had written him a very long letter, in her letter she quoted extensively from the Word scriptures pertaining to healing. In concluding she asked the evangelist what she had to do to be healed. The Evangelist in his blunt manner, sent her letter back to her with a note asking her to believe her own letter.

A short while later, she wrote back to say she had been healed! This is something to note, believing the word is not the same as knowing it, neither is it the same as quoting it, you can do all these and still not believe it!

What is believing the Word then? It is relying completely and totally on the Word, it is been fully persuaded and convinced that the Word means exactly what it says. Christians are supposed to be believers, people who rely completely and totally on the Word. The Word shapes their world view and their perspective.

(As it is written, I have made thee a father of many nations,) before him whom he believed, even God, who quickeneth the dead, and calleth those things which be not as though they were.

Who against hope believed in hope, that he might become the father of many nations; according to that which was spoken, So shall thy seed be.

And being not weak in faith, he considered not his own body now dead, when he was about an hundred years old, neither yet the deadness of Sara’s womb:

He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God;

And being fully persuaded that, what he had promised, he was able also to perform.

Romans 4: 18 -21 (KJV)

Believing the Word also means believing on Jesus because Jesus is the Word! Many times the Word speaks opposite to our human experience, so believing the word also ,means counting the Word as true even when it contradicts the evidence of our senses. That’s what Abraham did.

Meditation helps us come to a point and a place where the Word is settled in our hearts, it enables the Holy Spirit give us those flashes of revelation and insights that we need if we are going to have the spirit of the Word and not just its letter or shell.

Every revelation that does not conform to the instruction and character of Jesus Christ is false revelation. Many people have been caught on error and deception because they don’t understand that the flash and the devil can also give us false revelation seemingly based on the bible.

ACT

Finally if you are going to experience the change you need, you need to act on what the Lord is showing you. You act by what you do and say. There is always something you can do to give action to the word. You don’t act to make the word come true, you act BECAUSE the word is true. You can do all things through Christ who strengthens you!

God has called us to be doers of the Word and not only hearers only, It is not prayer that changes us, it is the Word that transforms us daily.

But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.  2 Corinthians 3:18 (KJV)

These three simple principles work for individuals as also for whole Churches and Nations, if you will apply them across your life and ministry you will find life transforming change taking place.

Never Forget

Right Knowledge + Right Believing + Right Action = Positive Power Results
