In the next few passages of scriptures God lays out the demands and the scope of this revelation.

But if you indeed obey His voice and do all that I speak, then I will be an enemy to your enemies and an adversary to your adversaries. For My Angel will go before you and bring you in to the Amorites and the Hittites and the Perizzites and the Canaanites and the Hivites and the Jebusites; and I will cut them off. You shall not bow down to their gods, nor serve them, nor do according to their works; but you shall utterly overthrow them and completely break down their sacred pillars.

 “So you shall serve the Lord your God, and He will bless your bread and your water. And I will take sickness away from the midst of you.  No one shall suffer miscarriage or be barren in your land; I will fulfill the number of your days.

I will send My fear before you, I will cause confusion among all the people to whom you come, and will make all your enemies turn their backs to you. And I will send hornets before you, which shall drive out the Hivite, the Canaanite, and the Hittite from before you. I will not drive them out from before you in one year, lest the land become desolate and the beasts of the field become too numerous for you. Little by little I will drive them out from before you, until you have increased, and you inherit the land.  And I will set your bounds from the Red Sea to the sea, Philistia, and from the desert to the River.

 For I will deliver the inhabitants of the land into your hand, and you shall drive them out before you. You shall make no covenant with them, nor with their gods. They shall not dwell in your land, lest they make you sin against Me. For if you serve their gods, it will surely be a snare to you.”

Ex 23:22-33

God promises to fight your battles, overcome your adversaries, give you victory after victory, bless your bread and water. Keep you healthy and well but there is a condition; you must walk completely with Him, separate from the principles and practices of the unsaved around you. Jesus alluded to this when he said

“So why do you worry about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow: they neither toil nor spin; and yet I say to you that even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these.  30 Now if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today is, and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, will He not much more clothe you, O you of little faith?

“Therefore do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’  For after all these things the Gentiles seek. For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things.  But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Matt 6:28-33

God has great things in your future and he is committed to bringing you into it. He has given us of His Spirit to lead us and direct our steps but we must be committed to the journey and to His direction to navigate our way through an unknown certainty

Be assured in 2021 you are not alone, never for one minute think you have been abandoned, Jesus said ‘Lo, I am with you always even unto the end of the ages’ glory to God!

There will be difficult moments but they will produce great victories, your spiritual cv will be built up and our faith in God and His word strengthened, this will enable you to be the connection between Jesus and a world in need of His love and power!

Have faith in Jesus, believe His word and live by them. Do not be troubled by the sound of the day, do not let your heart be shaken by the noise of doom.

Remember that the Lord your God is with you and He has promised to always be there for you.

You have resources available to you far greater than anything that may come against you. Be encouraged, there are myriads of angels waiting to come to your aid.

Prophecy

Have not I promised you that they will always be available to you?

Be of good cheer, you have overcome the world, the prince of this world has been judged and has nothing on you.

I am your righteousness, therefore fear not for you are mine and I am thine.

Let my peace fill your heart, be thankful always and go in faith

Obedience the qualifying condition

Behold, I send an Angel before you to keep you in the way and to bring you into the place which I have prepared. Beware of Him and obey His voice; do not provoke Him, for He will not pardon your transgressions; for My name is in Him. But if you indeed obey His voice and do all that I speak, then I will be an enemy to your enemies and an adversary to your adversaries.

Ex 23:20-22

The only condition the Lord gives us to enjoy this comfort and peace is obedience, obedience to His voice, whether through the written word or by His Spirit.

Jesus said

My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me.

John 10:27

If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you

John 15:7

We must learn to hear and obey the voice of the Lord in all things to enter into the prepared place. This is an area that many believers lack they know the scriptures to some extent but they don’t know the voice of the Lord.

Knowing the scriptures AS the Lord speaking to you NOW however is an indispensable first step to recognizing the voice of the Lord in other ways.

It is my prayer that in this New Year you will grow in your capacity to discern the voice of the Lord through the scriptures and by the Spirit.
